Allergy Advisor Tutorial - Cross-reactivity

This screen allows you to perform a search for information on crossreactions for a specific item.

Example:

Type in the search item.
Click on the Search button.
Click on one of the items in the list of answers presented to the right of the search box.
A list of articles is presented in the bottom half of the window.

When the cross-reactivity of an allergen is examined, you can see whether the cross-reactivity is due to a Family relationship, Similar protein, a Panallergen, a Proximal occurance or Co-sensitization.

View an article´s reference by first clicking on the article followed by the Reference button.

Click Close (above) to return to the Main Menu.
